Job summary

Epiroc USA LLC is hiring a Field Service Technician to support customer sites in Silver Valley, Idaho. You will troubleshoot, repair, and install parts on mining equipment, maintain tool inventory, and work to minimize downtime while upholding safety standards.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills, tool ownership, and the ability to travel. TL1/TL2 training and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude required with ability to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Must read and understand basic hydraulic and 24-volt schematics.
• Own required hand tools and expand tool inventory as needed.

Responsibilities

• Review and maintain personal tool inventory and calibration readiness.
• Perform on-site troubleshooting, repair, and installation of components.
• Adhere to safety requirements and PPE usage at all times.
• Provide warranty support and service reports as needed.
• Train and mentor junior technicians as needed.
