Job summary

Entrust Corporation is hiring a Field Service Technician in Knoxville, TN. The role provides preventative and emergency maintenance on Entrust equipment, with high autonomy to diagnose and fix issues across mechanical and electronic systems.

Drivers license and ability to travel are required, along with on-call availability. The team emphasizes customer relations and follows company processes for service activity reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 year of electromechanical technician experience.
• Proficient problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient with PC’s, current operating systems and relevant software applications.
• Ability and willingness to drive to several customer sites daily to complete assigned work.
• Willingness to work flexible hours/shifts, travel when required, including off-site assignments.
• Willingness to be on-call.
• Able to lift to 70 lbs. and spend much of shift physically active.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality preventative and emergency maintenance on Entrust equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues on systems including embossers, laminating, magstripe and chip data writing, and UV curing.
• Calibrate sensors and data write devices, and adjust software for temperature and positioning.
• Inspect and replace worn parts (motors, belts, bearings, etc.).
• Use repair manuals to troubleshoot card printer systems and tools for testing.
