Job summary

Applied Innovation in Flint, MI is seeking a dependable Field Service Technician for a full-time, Mon–Fri role from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will service and maintain office equipment at customer sites, traveling in a company vehicle with a gas card; training provided.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical and technical aptitude; prior field service is a plus but not required. Excellent customer service and ability to work independently or in a team are essential; benefits include comprehensive

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record required.
• Factory certifications (Canon, Ricoh, Kyocera, Sharp) preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of print drivers and basic network communication helpful.
• Prior field service or technical repair experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and service office equipment including multifunction devices.
• Maintain an assigned service territory with high responsiveness and service quality.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently and accurately.
• Collaborate with fellow technicians and internal teams to meet customer needs.
• Maintain accurate inventory of parts, tools, and service documentation.
• Follow established service procedures and safety guidelines.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and professionally.
• Represent Applied Innovation positively in customer interactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
