Job summary

POWERX in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 4) to supervise projects, perform complex electrical tests, and manage test equipment setup and data recording. You’ll interact with engineers and managers and prepare comprehensive reports.

Required are 10+ years of experience, a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s preferred), OSHA/MSHA/NFPA 70-E/CPR training, and a valid driver’s license. Travel up to 50% and strong MS Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in the field.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED, Power DB training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex electrical tests and measurements and record data.
• Lead and manage projects, supervise NETA field technicians, ensure safe work.
• Write and review detailed test reports and provide corrective actions.
