Job summary

POWERX seeks a Field Service Technician (NETA 4) to lead electrical testing, measurements, and project supervision. You'll interact with engineers and managers, set up test equipment, and ensure safety and reporting compliance on energized or de-energized sites.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of field experience, NETA 4 preferred, and strong MS Office skills. Travel up to 50% and a commitment to safe, reliable power solutions are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.
• NETA certification level 4 preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in field service or related role.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex electrical tests and measurements.
• Lead and manage projects, supervising NETA field technicians.
• Write and review detailed reports on test results and findings.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and timely project completion.
