Job summary

POWERX is seeking a seasoned Field Service Technician (NETA 4) to lead complex electrical investigations, measurements, and report writing on customer sites.

You will coordinate with engineers and managers, set up test equipment, follow lockout/tagout and electrical safety procedures, and travel up to 50%.

The role demands strong communication, data recording, and the ability to work independently while delivering thorough, timely reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.
• NETA certification level 4 preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in related field.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex electrical tests and measurements and collect data accurately.
• Lead and manage projects, supervising NETA field technicians and coordinating progress from start to finish.
• Write and review detailed reports on test results and findings, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
• Ensure safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, and support engineers and managers with corrective actions.
