Job summary

Numotion seeks a Service Technician in Charlotte, NC to service and repair complex manual and powered wheelchairs and other medical equipment. You will apply knowledge of manufacturer specs, perform repairs in shop or at customer sites, and ensure safety and reliability.

This role requires at least a high school diploma or GED, two years of mechanical experience, and proficiency with hand and power tools. A valid driver's license is needed for travel; experience with wheelchair repair is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or minimum one year of related experience.
• Two years of relevant mechanical experience; medical equipment preferred.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment in shop or field.
• Maintain stock equipment and keep inventory accurate.
• Keep a clean, safe shop/work environment.
• Maintain delivery vehicles in safe condition.
• Handle parts management and documentation.
• Educate customers and caregivers on use and safety.
• Perform fittings and adjustments for user comfort.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in training.
