Job summary

Numotion is hiring a Service Technician in Sacramento, CA to diagnose and repair complex manual and powered wheelchairs and related medical equipment. You will work both in shop and in the field, ensuring safe operation and customer satisfaction.

A valid driver’s license and mechanical aptitude are required. Ideal candidates have at least two years of mechanical experience, familiarity with medical devices, and basic computer skills for documentation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or minimum one year of related experience.
• Minimum of two years of relevant mechanical experience. Experience with medical equipment preferred.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools for equipment repair.
• Basic knowledge of Word Processing, Email, and Internet for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment in shop or field.
• Maintain stock equipment and ensure reliable operation for customer use.
• Keep shop/warehouse safe, clean, and organized at all times.
• Maintain delivery vehicles in safe operating condition.
• Receive, store, and ship parts with accurate inventory tracking.
• Complete documentation thoroughly and on time, including signatures and reports.
• Educate customers and caregivers on proper use, care, and safety of equipment.
• Perform minor fittings and adjustments for user comfort.
