Numotion in Apex, North Carolina is seeking a Service Technician to service and repair complex manual and powered wheelchairs and related medical equipment. You will apply manufacturer specifications to ensure safety, reliability, and readiness for customers who depend on this equipment daily.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience), two years of mechanical experience, and proficiency with hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or minimum one year of related experience.
• Minimum of two years of relevant mechanical experience.
• Experience with medical equipment is preferred.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools for equipment repair.
• Basic knowledge of Word Processing, Email, and Internet for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and Repair Equipment in the shop and in the field.
• Maintain stock equipment for customer use.
• Keep shop/warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
• Maintain delivery vehicles in safe operating condition.
• Receive, store, and ship parts with accurate inventory tracking.
• Complete documentation thoroughly and promptly.
• Educate customers and caregivers on proper use, care, and safety.
• Perform minor fittings and adjustments for user comfort.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations.
• Participate in required in-service training.
