Job summary

Arjo is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repair on medical equipment at hospitals in the Cincinnati metro area. The role requires understanding electromechanical systems, strong customer relations, and the ability to travel daily with 20-30% overnight stays.

The technician will service equipment at hospitals in southwest-Ohio, with a company vehicle provided and travel expenses covered. DS/QA standards and safety regulations apply.

Qualifications

• Repair and maintenance experience with electromechanical equipment.
• Electrical and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull 75 pounds.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and have a clear driving record

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, repair, installations, upgrades, and in-servicing at customer locations (medical facilities).
• Technical diagnosis and repair cost estimates on customer-owned medical equipment.
• Assists the Sales team in marketing company equipment (joint calls, in-services, sales leads, demo and trade show set-up, etc).
• Grow Service Contracts revenue through service contracts and renewal of existing service contracts.
• Align with all health and safety codes and procedures as mandated by company policy, customer requirements, and regulatory agencies.
• Completed and submit accurate reporting.
• Spare parts inventory management.
• Daily driving to customer locations (medical facilities); 20-30% overnight travel.
