Arjo is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide preventative maintenance and repair on Arjo’s medical equipment on-site at West-Bay area hospitals. This role requires applying a detailed understanding of electromechanical systems and the tools and processes needed to complete the work. Daily focus will be on high-quality equipment service and on building customer relationships to drive growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, repair, installations, upgrades, and in-servicing at customer locations (medical facilities).
• Technical diagnosis and repair cost estimates on customer-owned medical equipment.
• Assist the Sales team in marketing company equipment (joint calls, in-services, sales leads, demo and trade show setup, etc).
• Grow Service Contracts revenue through service contracts and renewal of existing service contracts.
• Align with all health and safety codes and procedures as mandated by company policy, customer requirements, and regulatory agencies.
• Complete and submit accurate reporting.
• Spare parts inventory management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required. (Associate’s Degree in an Electrical or Mechanical field preferred)
• Repair and maintenance experience with electromechanical equipment.
• Electrical and mechanical assembly.
• Training and/or certifications preferred.
• Sales experience a plus.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and have a clear driving record.
• Lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull 75 pounds.
