Job summary

Tennant Company is seeking a Field Service Technician in Dallas, TX. You will diagnose and repair battery, engine-powered, and robotic Tennant products at customer sites, while coordinating with customers on service timelines and expectations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of hands-on experience with engines, mechanical and electrical systems, and proficiency with tools and PCs. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and compliance with Tennant driving policy.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in troubleshooting/repair of engines (LP/Diesel/Gas) and mechanical/electrical systems.
• Experience using hand and power tools; operating a PC and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose/repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and combustion engine issues on Tennant products and similar models.
• Own your territory: plan daily schedule, contact customers, and communicate service expectations, timelines, and billing.
• Maintain records of service activities and ensure cleanliness and organization of vehicles, tools, parts, and equipment.
• Collaborate with internal partners (sales, service, support) to ensure customer success.
