Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license and compliance with Tennant Company driving policy.
• Minimum of 3 years troubleshooting and repairing combustion engines (LP, Diesel, or Gas).
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficient with hand and power shop tools, diagnostic devices.
• Proficient with personal computer usage, MS Office Suite, and email.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and resolve complex problems by troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems and combustion engine problems on Tennant products.
• Own your territory: plan daily schedule and contact customers to schedule service activities; maintain clear communication regarding service expectations and timelines.
• Create and maintain records of all service activities and reporting documentation.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of company vehicle, tools, parts, inventory, and equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and use PPE.
• Collaborate with internal partners (sales, customer service, field service support, other technicians) to support success.
