Job summary

Jobtailor in Elko, NV seeks a field service technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain underground mining cutting equipment. You will lead new equipment commissioning and training at customer sites, inspect performance, and document faults and parts lists.

You will read blueprints, diagnose electrical systems (diesel, low and high voltage), and participate in continuous improvement while building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Technical certification or diploma in mechanical or electrical fields or equivalent years of professional field/technical experience
• minimum of 7 years industry-related experience
• Technical experience to include diesel, low voltage, and high voltage electrical
• Success in team environments
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous success in self-motivated roles
• Previous success in customer satisfaction
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret equipment schematics

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical aspects of underground mechanical cutting equipment
