Foodmate US. Inc. hires a Field Service Technician based out of North Carolina to provide first-line support for installed systems and new installations.

You will test, diagnose, repair, and debug electro-mechanical equipment and travel extensively to customer sites for installation, servicing, and repairs. The role requires strong mechanical/electrical skills, PLC/HMI knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in Mechatronics is desired.
• 2+ years of experience in maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of large capital equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical background required.
• Solid understanding of PLCs is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license, valid passport, and a good driving record.
• Travel extensively, up to 100%; this may be regional, national, or international with weekend/holiday work.

Responsabilidades

• Provide first-level customer support for installed Foodmate systems and new installations.
• Test, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug electro-mechanical processing equipment and related systems.
• Coordinate with customer management, supervisors, production employees, and technicians on complex problems.
• Travel frequently to customer sites to assist with installation, servicing and repair of Foodmate poultry processing equipment and related subsystems, including rebuilds.

** This position is a high-travel employee based out of North Carolina. **

Foodmate US. Inc. is a leading poultry processing equipment provider, founded by industry experts in 2010. The company launch in the U.S. was a result of a successful product line development in the manufacturing facility located in the Netherlands.

The Field Service Technician provides first-level customer support for installed Foodmate systems and new installations. He or she should possess the skills to test, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug electro-mechanical processing equipment and related systems. The Field Service Technician must be able to use his or her outstanding communication skills to work closely with customer management, supervisors, production employees, and technicians on complex problems and assume responsibilities for continued customer satisfaction. This position requires frequent travel to customer sites to assist with installation, servicing and repair of Foodmate poultry processing equipment and related sub-systems, and equipment rebuilds. Work assignments are varied but limited in scope and complexity. • Degree of knowledge and experience of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic components.
• Ability to interpret complex technical information involving mechanics and electronics, including schematics and mechanical engineering documentation.
• Knowledge of AB CompactLogix and various other PLCs; knowledge/experience in operation, troubleshooting, and modifications.
• AB PanelView and various types of HMI programming and troubleshooting.
• Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) parameter configuration and programming.
• Depth-full understanding of Servo drive motor systems and configuration.

Duravant Field Service Technician Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in Mechatronics is desired.
• EE, EET, EECS or Industrial Electronics degree is a plus
