Job summary

WASH is seeking a Service Technician to repair washers and dryers at customer locations across the Miami area. You will work independently, assess mechanical and electrical components, and ensure machines run smoothly to meet client expectations.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of hands-on mechanical experience, the ability to lift substantial weights, and strong English communication; Spanish is a plus. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience and electrical knowledge.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 200 pounds with assistance.
• Experience in washer/dryer repair is a plus.
• Excellent English communication; Spanish desirable.

Responsibilities

• Service washers and dryers at apartments, laundromats, hotels, and similar sites.
• Disassemble machines and inspect mechanical and electrical parts.
• Reassemble, adjust pulleys, and lubricate moving parts.
• Replace worn or defective parts and adjust motors.
• Drive a company vehicle to and from work locations.
• Advise dispatch on equipment replacements and maintenance needs.
