Job summary

WASH Multifamily Laundry Systems in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Service Technician to perform field service and mechanical repairs on coin-operated washers and dryers at customer locations within the assigned region.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to work independently, and good English communication; a valid driver’s license is necessary, and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. We provide hands-on training and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical experience and electrical knowledge or training.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and move 200+ pounds with a dolly.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Good driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Performs field service to test and repair malfunctioning washers and dryers.
• Uses test equipment to determine condition of machines.
• Examines machines during operating cycles for issues.
• Disassembles and inspects mechanical and electrical parts.
• Replaces worn or defective parts such as switches, pumps, bearings, etc.
• Replaces and adjusts motors as needed.
• Drives a company vehicle to and from work locations.
• Maintains vehicle and stocks of replacement parts.
• Contacts apartment managers to ensure good customer relations.
