Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Field Service Technician to join the San Diego, CA market. In this field-based role, you will deliver steady, high-quality service across institutional segments, including warewashing, laundry, and dispensing systems.

You will manage inventory, complete documentation, and collaborate with sales and service teams to enhance the customer experience. The role offers a company vehicle, paid training, and a comprehensive benefits package starting Day 1, with scope for growth

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of service-related experience such as maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing equipment.
• Current and valid Driver's License with no restrictions.
• No Immigration Sponsorship available for this position.
• Availability to work overnight shifts and provide emergency call assistance which may occur at night, on weekends and over holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide service-intensive support to customers across the market, including aligned and centralized customers.
• Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on warewashing, laundry, dispensing equipment, and related systems.
• Complete emergency service requests, equipment changeouts, and other planned and unplanned work orders reliably and efficiently.
• Evaluate account conditions during each visit and proactively take action to help ensure customers meet Ecolab Brand Standards.
• Manage equipment, parts, and inventory to maintain a fully stocked vehicle, maximize effectiveness, and support first-time fix performance.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation for all work performed.
• Communicate Ecolab's total value to customers and strengthen customer relationships.
• Partner with sales, distribution, and service teams to improve responsiveness, reduce friction, and deliver a consistent customer experience.
