Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team serving the San Diego market. In this field-based role, you will perform installations, preventive maintenance, and service on warewashing, laundry, and dispensing equipment while supporting institutional customer programs.

You will travel within the San Diego region, maintain vehicle inventories, and collaborate with sales and service teams to deliver strong customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years of service-related experience (installation, repair, troubleshooting).
• Current and valid Driver's License with no restrictions.
• No Immigration Sponsorship available for this position.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts and provide emergency call assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide field-based service and support across the market, including aligned and centralized customers.
• Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on warewashing, laundry, dispensing equipment, and related systems.
• Complete emergency service requests and planned/unplanned work orders reliably and efficiently.
• Evaluate account conditions during visits and ensure adherence to Ecolab Brand Standards.
• Manage equipment, parts, and inventory to keep a fully stocked vehicle and enable first-time fixes.
• Document all work performed accurately and timely.
