Job summary

Humanscale is seeking a Field Service Technician to inspect, update, and install company products at customer sites in the New York area. You will support sales and service teams, ensure quality installations, and maintain strong customer relationships with a focus on problem-solving and safety.

The role requires on-site work, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks, including documentation and large installation projects, while upholding Humanscale standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience or training in field service or similar role.
• Experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and speaking.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to document and report work accurately.

Responsibilities

• Handle all facets of the customer’s field service experience in dedicated territory.
• Perform installations and warranty repairs for Humanscale products.
• Identify, analyze, and solve problems on-site.
• Provide education to the customer and maintain strong relationships.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records; report needs.
• Adhere to safety rules and professional appearance; travel as needed.
