Job summary

Matthews International is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site installation, training, repair and preventative maintenance of the company’s equipment. You will support customers, distributors and sales teams, with the goal of expanding maintenance agreements and spares sales.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing equipment, and coordinating with product management and service teams.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or certification/apprenticeship in technical, mechanical, electrical technology or related field.
• 4+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Willingness to travel locally, nationally, and/or internationally.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, Outlook and Internet applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of systems, including custom applications.
• Repair equipment at customer sites.
• Provide technical assistance via phone and email to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
