Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team in the Los Angeles, CA market. This field-based role delivers high-quality service, installations, maintenance, and issue resolution across Institutional segments.

You will support customers, ensure Ecolab Brand Standards, and collaborate with sales and service teams to enhance customer experience and outcomes. Travel within the LA area may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of service-related experience (maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing equipment).
• Current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions.
• No Immigration Sponsorship available for this position.
• Availability to work overnight shifts and provide emergency call assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide service-intensive support to customers across the market, including aligned and centralized customers.
• Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on warewashing, laundry, dispensing equipment, and related systems.
• Complete emergency service requests, equipment changeouts, and other planned and unplanned work orders reliably and efficiently.
• Evaluate account conditions during each visit and proactively take action to help ensure customers meet Ecolab Brand Standards.
• Manage equipment, parts, and inventory to maintain a fully stocked vehicle, maximize effectiveness, and support first-time fix performance.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation for all work performed.
• Communicate Ecolab’s total value to customers and strengthen customer relationships.
• Partner with sales, distribution, and service teams to improve responsiveness, reduce friction, and deliver a consistent customer experience.
