Minerals Technologies Inc. is seeking a Steel Mill Laborer for the Minscan division to assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of scanning systems in steel mills and other industrial environments.

This safety-sensitive role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, and travel to customer sites. Responsibilities include installation, troubleshooting, and routine preventative maintenance, with emphasis on safety and adherence to customer specifications.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or trade certification preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools; good problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with installation, setup, and commissioning of Minscan equipment at customer facilities.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues impacting system performance.
• Perform repairs, maintenance, and calibration of Minscan systems and supporting hardware.
• Diagnose equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities.
• Support technical service personnel during planned outages and emergency service calls.
• Travel to customer locations to support installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
