Southern Scales is seeking a Service Technician in Metairie, Louisiana, to install, inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical and electronic weighing systems. Qualifications

• Recent technical experience in mechanical, electrical, and electronics field.
• Capable of lifting 25 pound weights repetitively.
• Ability to perform installations, testing, and calibration of weighing systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical and electronic scales.
• Test, diagnose, and repair scale systems in commercial and industrial settings.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements and industry standards.

Skills

Technical experience in mechanical, electrical, and electronics field

Ability to read maintenance manuals and work from blueprints

Capable of working independently and in a team
