Job summary

Aerzen USA Corp. is a global manufacturer of air and gas handling equipment. We seek a Field Service Technician to install, service and repair Aerzen products at customer sites across our U.S.

footprint. You will travel frequently to perform startups, inspections, and maintenance while ensuring safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates have an associates degree in electronics technology and 4+ years in field service of rotating equipment; PLC experience (Allen Bradley) and TCP/IP/RS-485

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in electronics technology or equivalent experience.
• Over 4 years of Field Service/Repair experience in rotating equipment.
• Windows, Microsoft Office; TCP/IP networks and RS-485 communications; Allen Bradley PLC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs startups, equipment inspections, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service on Aerzen Products at customer sites; represent Aerzen professionally and safely.
• Installing, configuring, calibrating and maintaining instrumentation; install electrical, pneumatic and fluid connections; interpret control narratives.
• Reading diagrams and drawings; performing service tasks and repairs using documented procedures.
• Communicate with customers to discuss job requirements, provide recommendations and status updates.
• Plan and schedule travel to meet customer requirements and time efficiency using Concur.
• Complete service reports, expense reports and commissioning graphs using Company Software.
• Travel more than 50% of the time; Monday–Friday with weekends at home.
