Job summary

Riekes Equipment in the Midwest is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair forklifts, pallet jacks, dock equipment, and other industrial gear. You’ll work independently, applying hands-on skills to deliver safe, reliable service. The role emphasizes mechanical and electrical troubleshooting with the ability to read wiring and hydraulic diagrams.

A valid driver’s license and fluency in English are required. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Three or more years’ experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing in Material Handling, Automotive, Heavy Machinery, or Diesel industries preferred.
• Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair forklifts, pallet jacks, dock equipment, aerial lifts, compactors, and other industrial equipment.
• Identify items in need of repair and provide superior customer service.
• Work safely following all safety policies and procedures; perform all other duties as assigned.
