Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors and related components. You will diagnose issues and provide technical guidance to customers at their location, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

The role requires climbing, lifting, and physical work in varied environments, with travel 1-2 times per year and on-call rotation in the local area. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA 608 /F-GAS 303/2008/CE/ISHRAE Certification Preferred (Refrigeration experience/certification a plus).

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain all makes of rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors, and related components at customer sites.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of field installation and repair requirements.
• Provide technical advice and train customers and field personnel; submit clear reports and timekeeping records weekly.
