Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Field Service Technician II to prepare medical products for patient use, performing cleaning, disinfection, function checks and minor repairs. You will support 24/7 delivery and service for Baxter and customer accounts, ensuring readiness and reliability of equipment.

You will travel to customer sites, troubleshoot devices, load/unload equipment up to 1680 pounds, and maintain safety protocols while delivering timely service and support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience with FDA-regulated medical products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems of assigned products.
• Repair malfunctioning components and use appropriate tools for adjustments.
• Provide on-call coverage 24/7 including weekends and holidays.
• Load, unload, and move medical products up to 1680 pounds.
• Generate service revenue and perform service contract activities.
• Safely operate a box truck or company vehicle up to 26,000 pounds.
