Job summary

Baxter is hiring a Field Service Technician II to prepare medical products for patient use and perform cleaning, disinfection, function checks, and minor repairs on rental and customer-owned devices. This role involves on-call duties, customer interaction, and safe vehicle operation across service centers and customer sites.

You will join a field service team supporting hospital and service environments, with comprehensive benefits and a focus on patient care and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical or trade school training preferred.
• 21+ years old with valid driver's license.
• Experience with FDA regulated products.
• Experience in customer service.
• DOT medical card (assistance available).
• Safety PPE required during work activities.
• On-site roles may involve biohazard exposure in clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems troubleshooting and repair of assigned products.
• Troubleshoot devices and repair malfunctioning components.
• Use proper tools for adjustments and repairs.
• Provide on-call coverage up to 24/7, including weekends and holidays.
• Load, unload, and move medical products up to 1680 pounds.
• Generate service revenue and complete activities under service contracts.
• Safely operate vehicles from box trucks to large company cars.
