Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician II to ensure product readiness for patient use across a range of medical devices. You will perform cleaning, disinfection, function checks, and minor repairs while supporting on-call visits to hospitals and depots.

The role requires driving a company vehicle, handling heavy medical equipment, and delivering timely service within the Baxter network. Experience with FDA-regulated products and customer service is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record.
• Technical or Trade School training preferred.
• Experience with FDA regulated products preferred.
• Experience in customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems troubleshooting and repair of assigned products.
• Ability to troubleshoot devices and repair any malfunctioning components.
• Ability to use the appropriate tools in making required adjustments and repairs.
• Ability to provide on-call coverage, up to 24/7 basis including weekends and holidays, which may require customer account visits.
• Ability to load, unload, and remove medical products, weighing up to 1680 pounds.
• Generate service revenue and complete activities required under service contract.
• Safely operate box truck vehicle or company car ranging in size from a cargo van up to a 26,000 pound truck.
