Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) is seeking a Field Service Technician II to provide advanced maintenance, repair, and support on our equipments. You will diagnose complex issues and guide junior technicians while collaborating with engineering teams to improve product performance.

Expect on-site work, travel, and customer training. Role requires DoD security clearance, willingness to deploy globally, and ability to work extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of technician or related experience.
• Basic understanding of schematics/diagrams/manuals.
• Willing to travel outside the continental US.
• Must obtain US government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to SNC customers for quick problem assessment and corrections.
• Document all customer interactions and implement hardware/software/training changes per SNC instructions.
• Travel to remote locations worldwide with short notice.
• Perform maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.
• Follow shift lead supervisor daily tasking and priorities.
• Provide onsite training to customers.
