Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group LLC is seeking a Service/Repair Technician 3 to provide on-site support for Hobart Service customers, including installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial food equipment. The role requires on-call, after-hours, holiday, and weekend support.

The technician will interpret schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safety compliance, while contributing to branch goals and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 4-7 years of food equipment service experience and/or 2-4 years of HVACR service experience.
• Associates Degree or Vocational Certificate preferred.
• Industry certifications highly desirable (CFESA / NATE / Hobart)

Responsibilities

• Installs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and/or refrigeration commercial food equipment and leads advanced installs as needed.
• Maintain, diagnose, and repair equipment for customers on contract or T&M basis.
• Interpret and follow schematic diagrams.
• Document preventative maintenance and safety procedures.
• Promote customer experience and generate leads for branch objectives.
