Job summary

Baxter in Louisville, KY is seeking a Field Service Technician II to prepare medical devices for patient use, perform cleaning, disinfecting, function checks, and minor repairs on rental and customer-owned products. The role includes customer interaction, driving a range of company vehicles, and providing 24/7 service support to service centers and accounts.

The candidate will handle repairs and readiness activities, ensuring safe operation of equipment and timely service to healthcare

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license and driving record
• Basic mathematical skills
• Technical or Trade School training
• DOT physical card
• Experience with FDA regulated products
• Experience in customer service

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on assigned products.
• Perform repairs and load/unload medical devices safely.
• Provide on-call coverage up to 24/7 including weekends/holidays and customer visits.
• Safely operate box truck or company car from cargo van to 26,000 lb truck.
