Title: NCR Field Service Technician II

Location: Pittsburgh, PA


Position Summary:

Are you a Field Technician? Field Engineer? Service Technician? Or do you want to become a member of this field? Are you tech savvy with mechanical aptitude who feels their skills are transferrable? Can you help us to provide best in class service? Do you want to work with some of the largest retailers and banks in the industry?

NCR Atleos is looking for Field Service Technicians.

NCR Atleos’s Field Services Team creates value for our customers by delivering solutions that build long term relationships. Acting as a first line response to our customers, you will communicate in an open, helpful, and engaging manner with the focus being finding the right solution. You will organize, triage customer issues, and even handle some problems before they start. No matter the situation, your formal training (provided through NCR Atleos) will allow you to provide customers what they need when they need it.

You can expect a salary in the range of $40,800.00 to $59,200.00 on the lower end for less experienced and more for well directly experienced professionals.

Utilize your skills to:

  1. Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
  2. Service electromechanical equipment like ATMs and self-checkout systems within an assigned territory.
  3. Perform maintenance repair and system overhauls.
  4. Manage everything from network faults and traffic, to configuration, security, and remote system access.

Basic Qualifications to qualify:

  1. Local candidate to specific geographic area.
  2. Authorized to work in the US.
  3. At least 19 years of age.
  4. Have a valid driver’s license and driving record that satisfies NCR Atleos fleet requirements.
  5. PC skills, basic electronic skills, and operating system familiarity.
  6. Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  7. Prolonged travel with driving several hours per day.
  8. Rotating and weekend shifts.
  9. Carrying and lifting tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
  10. Bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, working with your hands, and repetitively grasping and manipulating objects of varying size.

Preferred Qualifications to qualify (not required, but nice to have):

  1. Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software.
  2. A+ Certification, CompTIA, N+ Certification.
  3. One or more years of related experience.
