Job summary

Hach is seeking a Field Service Technician I to deliver high-quality customer service, perform preventive maintenance, routine repairs, and calibrations at customer sites. The role covers municipal and industrial settings in the Phoenix, AZ area with daily travel and company-paid travel, accommodations, and meals.

Training spans 10 weeks with 8 weeks in the field and 2 weeks in Loveland, CO. Benefits start day one, including medical/dental/vision,401(k), PTO, and a Hach bonus up to 6% of salary.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required; Associates/technical degree preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience with preventive maintenance.
• 2+ years of field service or customer-facing experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel daily within a 2-hour radius.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of instrumentation.
• Serve as on-site contact for technical and service issues and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Submit accurate service reports affecting billing, inventory, and instrument history.
• Travel daily to customer sites with overnight stays when required.
