Job summary

Securitas Technology is seeking technically minded individuals with a background in electronic security solutions to service customer sites in Massachusetts. You will handle post-installation issues, perform on-site software upgrades, and contribute to project work as needed.

A Massachusetts Electrician D License and a high school diploma are required. Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, intrusion, and fire alarm systems, plus solid communication and documentation skills, are essential.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Electrician D License is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with low voltage electronics for security systems.
• Strong written and verbal communications.
• Familiarity with CCTV, access control, burglary, intrusion, and fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to trouble tickets to maintain uptime.
• Diagnose and resolve system issues, solo or in a team.
• Execute preventative maintenance to maximize availability.
• Document all system modifications in a change control system.
• Produce technical documentation describing deployments for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Perform pre-deployment testing of upgrades and major modifications.
• Perform on-site installations of software upgrades and major modifications.
