Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician I in Rochester, NY to service printers, copiers, and MPS environments. You will troubleshoot, install, upgrade, and repair equipment, while keeping customers informed and ensuring optimal operation.

The role emphasizes hands-on work, ongoing learning, and direct customer interaction across a broad range of office technology. Competitive hourly pay and a monthly bonus apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment or related products.
• Experience with document management systems or MFPs is a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills and electro-mechanical aptitude are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and office tech at customer locations.
• Provide product training and support to customers.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits.
• Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule effectively.
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete required training, and rebuild components in the shop as needed.
• Accurately document service activities and follow safety policies.
