Job summary

TAS Energy Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer I to provide field support, commissioning, and troubleshooting for mechanical and electrical systems on projects in the Houston, TX area. The role involves close interaction with project engineers, QA, and client personnel, along with cross-training in controls.

Travel to domestic and international sites is required. Ideal candidates have HVAC trade schooling or equivalent, 2+ years of field experience, and ability to read drawings and work

Qualifications

• HVAC trade school or apprenticeship training preferred.
• Military training or technical work experience could substitute trade schooling.
• Minimum 2 years of field experience in construction support, startup, repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Compile O&M information and transmit critical data during a project.
• Direct the field commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment on site.
• Create legible red-line drawings for Project Manager submission.
• Coordinate hand-off from construction to operations and QA.
• Support QA/QC functions and assist factory personnel as needed.
