Job summary

Turbine Air Systems, Ltd. is seeking a Field Engineer I to provide on-site field support in Houston, TX. The role involves commissioning, troubleshooting, and retrofit of mechanical and electrical systems, with close collaboration with project teams and client personnel.

Ideal candidates have HVAC trade training, 2 years field experience, and the ability to travel extensively. Safety certifications and independent work capability are required.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of project field experience in construction support, startup, repair, and maintenance.
  • Must have or obtain safety certifications including OSHA10 General Construction.
  • Ability to travel extensively domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Compile O&M information and transmit critical info during projects.
  • Assist in compilation of final IOM manuals and red-line drawings.
  • Direct field commissioning of mechanical/electrical portions.
  • Troubleshoot all mechanical and electrical equipment on site.
  • Coordinate with Project Engineers, QA and client personnel.
  • Support QA/QC functions and field training of factory personnel.
