Job summary

Allegion is seeking an IT Support professional to provide advanced local and remote assistance across manufacturing, warehouse, and office sites in Southern California. You will troubleshoot, document, and implement hardware/software lifecycle processes while aligning with ITIL and cybersecurity policies.

The role offers hybrid work with in-person collaboration and remote flexibility, and requires travel up to 50% in the Southern California area.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of work experience supporting manufacturing, офис, and warehouse environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Microsoft 365/Office suites.
• Experience with PC hardware troubleshooting and serial-based technologies.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and cybersecurity basics.
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced 2nd- and 3rd-level local and remote IT support for Allegion facilities to meet SLA metrics.
• Troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and document issues for stakeholders.
• Install and support technology hardware/software, manage lifecycle processes, and keep inventories updated.
• Follow ITIL and cybersecurity policies and collaborate with Cybersecurity to maintain security posture.
• Lead projects and long-range plans to drive IT/OT improvements and security standards.
• Assist with OT/industrial tech and basic shop-floor processes compliance.
• Support network, server, security, telephony, and apps infrastructure; provide AV and printing support.
• Serve as a key point of contact for site management and cross-functional teams.
• Leverage AI tools to automate workflows and improve efficiency.
• Provide daytime onsite coverage with occasional after-hours/weekend/on-call support; travel up to 50% in SoCal.
