Allegion is hiring for an IT Support professional to deliver advanced 2nd- and 3rd-level local and remote technical assistance across offices, manufacturing, and warehouses. You will troubleshoot, deploy hardware/software, and maintain accurate documentation and asset inventories.

The role emphasizes ITIL and cybersecurity collaboration, cross-functional teamwork, and projects driving IT/OT improvements, with hybrid work and up to 50% travel in Southern California.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of work experience supporting manufacturing, warehouse, and office environments.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Visio; exposure to Linux (Ubuntu) and mobile OS preferred.
• Demonstrated PC hardware troubleshooting experience (Dell preferred), experience with serial-based tech, scanners and printers; basic AV support.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills and an operational excellence mindset (root cause analysis, change management).
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced 2nd- and 3rd-level local and remote IT support for Allegion facilities to meet SLA metrics.
• Troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and communicate issues clearly to stakeholders.
• Support and install technology hardware/software, manage lifecycle processes, and maintain documentation and inventories.
• Follow ITIL and cybersecurity procedures and collaborate with Cybersecurity to maintain security posture.
• Lead projects and long-range planning to drive IT/OT improvements, including M&A integrations.
• Vet OT processes to ensure policy compliance and support basic OT technologies when required.
• Provide network/server/security/telephony/application support at basic to advanced levels; assist with AV and printers.
• Travel up to 50% locally within Southern California; onsite coverage Monday–Friday with some on-call.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and global IT teams; promote standards for Field Services.
