Job summary

Texas First Rentals seeks a Field Service Technician I in Tyler, TX to perform minor diagnostics, repairs and reconditioning of rental equipment at an off-site location. You will document service reports, order parts, and maintain customer records while adhering to safety policies.

Requires 1+ year heavy equipment experience, HS diploma preferred, and certifications (MSHA, A/C, Crane/Rigger) preferred. Valid tools, CDL not mandatory but beneficial, and occasional overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Heavy equipment experience preferred; 3+ years preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• MSHA certification preferred; Air conditioning and Crane/Rigger certifications preferred.
• Must own required tools to perform repairs.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor repairs and minimal troubleshooting offsite with minimal supervision.
• Tests and verifies proper operation of repairs; prepares service reports and documents.
• Travels as required with overnight stays; maintains customer records and parts orders.
• Operates equipment with required licenses and maintains safety and DOT records.
