Job summary

Clean Harbors in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety conscious team. This role will be active in the field responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

The position includes an academy training, on-call emergency response on rotating basis, and opportunities for growth with comprehensive benefits after full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Background check, drug test, and physical required.
• On-call emergency response on rotating basis; weekends/holidays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety as top priority by following policies.
• Perform strenuous physical labor and operate equipment.
• Handle PPE and work in varying temperatures and environments.
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters.
• Climb ladders/scaffolding and work at heights.
• Safe loading/unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Attend compliance and safety update meetings.
• Be on call for emergency response as needed.
