Job summary

Atmos Energy is seeking a field service professional in Round Rock, TX to perform meter reading, service connections/disconnections, and basic customer support. You will install and operate Wireless Meter Reading equipment, assist with emergency response, and maintain accurate records for regulatory compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and completion of Operator Qualifications (OQ) and on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

Performs basic work using clearly prescribed procedures.
Responds to customer service requests including connections/disconnections as qualified.
Informs customers of needed repairs and ensures understanding and satisfaction with work.
May disconnect service and perform collection efforts on delinquent accounts.
Installs, programs, and operates Wireless Meter Reading equipment as needed.
Assists with responses to natural gas emergencies and other incidents.
Completes and maintains records to comply with Company and regulatory requirements.
May read meters and record usage for billing.
