Job summary

HYTORC, a leader in hydraulic and pneumatic torque wrench technology, seeks a Field Service Technician for the North Dakota territory. You will travel to customer sites to perform repairs, calibrations, and preventative maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, and manual tools.

The role emphasizes customer consultation, safe operation, and timely reporting. Candidates should have 3+ years of mechanical experience, a valid driver’s license, and a home workspace to house the company van.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• 3+ years of hands-on mechanical/technical experience.
• Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
• Experience with customer satisfaction.
• Excellent technical, communication, organizational and presentation skills.
• Clean and valid driver's license.
• A safe, preferably covered, space at or near home to keep the van overnight.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout territory to call on customers for repairs, calibrations and consultations.
• Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical, hydraulic and manual tools and pumps.
• Adhere to safety standards and schedules for repairs and calibrations.
• Provide required reporting on schedule updates, tasks completed and market information.
• Collaborate with branch managers, engineers and customers to meet repair demand.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure tool availability for customers.
