Tech24 is seeking a Field Service Technician for Charleston, SC to service commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment across the Central Georgia Refrigeration network. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining walk-ins, ice machines, prep tables, and related systems in customer sites.

The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years in HVAC/refrigeration, EPA Universal Certification, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• 3-5+ years of experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial cooking equipment.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers).
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment (walk-ins, reach-ins, ice machines, rooftops).
• Perform preventive maintenance for optimal performance and longevity.
• Document service calls, parts used, and labor hours accurately in the company system.
• Communicate with customers regarding issues, recommendations, and maintenance plans.
