Job summary

Tech24 is seeking an experienced HVACR technician to join our field service team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment at customer sites, ensuring uptime and safety.

The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years of hands-on HVAC and refrigeration experience, EPA Universal Certification, and a valid driver’s license. You will work independently, communicate clearly with customers, and represent Tech24 with professionalism in varying environments.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC systems.
• 3-5+ years experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial refrigeration systems.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying indoor/outdoor conditions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment including walk-ins, reach-ins, coolers, rooftops, and exhaust systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to optimize performance and longevity.
• Install, replace, and commission HVAC/refrigeration systems as needed.
• Document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and interactions in company system.
• Communicate repair recommendations and maintenance plans to customers.
• Maintain EPA compliance and safety regulations.
• Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools.
• Respond to emergency service calls promptly and professionally.
• Represent the company with professionalism and high-quality service.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and development.
