Job summary

Tech24 is seeking a skilled HVACR Technician in Macon, GA. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including walk-ins and rooftop units. Earn weekly pay with a company vehicle, tools, and benefits.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years of field experience, EPA Universal Certification, and the ability to read manuals and wiring diagrams. On-call rotation may be required; state license preferred and you will use company-provided training and resources.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of commercial HVAC and refrigeration experience.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in varying indoor/outdoor conditions.
• Own industry standard hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment including walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, ice machines, rooftop units, split systems, and exhaust/make-up air systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Install, replace, and commission HVAC and refrigeration systems as needed.
• Accurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding equipment issues, repair recommendations, and preventative maintenance plans.
• Maintain EPA compliance and adhere to safety regulations.
• Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked.
• Respond to emergency service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Represent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities.
