Job summary

Townsend Tree Service is seeking a Service Technician to perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and advanced repairs on heavy equipment at remote locations. You will ensure equipment runs at peak performance and document work performed, with after-hours availability as needed.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of heavy equipment mechanic experience, knowledge of DOT standards, and a valid driver's license. CDL is required where applicable. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of heavy equipment mechanic experience required.
• Knowledge of DOT standards and requirements.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Attention to detail and strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Operates, inspects, troubleshoots, performs diagnostics, and identifies defects/malfunctions.
• Determines required repairs on heavy and/or hydraulic equipment.
• Repairs or overhauls mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Performs preventative equipment maintenance.
• Documents and submits all necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
