Job summary

Thompson Tractor Company, Inc. seeks a Field Technician to service and repair earthmoving equipment in the field or shop, troubleshoot, disassemble and reassemble components, and perform preventive maintenance while documenting work via service information systems.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least one year of mechanical repair experience, basic computer skills, and a valid driver's license. CDL and Medical Card preferred; MVR checks will be conducted to ensure safe operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of mechanical repair experience.
• Experience with engines, hydraulics, transmissions, and electrical components preferred.
• MVR required; CDL and Medical Card preferred.
• Ability to read service manuals and use basic PC tools.

Responsibilities

• Plans and performs minor repairs with correct tools.
